This lavender, honey and white chocolate crème brûlée couldn’t be easier to put together and is a staple when I need a hassle-free pudding for a complicated dinner menu – just make sure you factor in the time for chilling. Make it the day before and simply keep in the fridge before adding the best and final touch the day of serving – the beautiful, caramelised topping.

600ml double cream
60g white chocolate
60g honey
2 tsp lavender (I use dried)
6 egg yolks
2 tbsp caster sugar (plus extra for topping)
