Broccoli adds a subtle hint of flavor, but these baked polenta sticks are a great appetizer with or with out the broccoli.

Ingredients



1 lb broccoli florets
2 cups milk
2 cups water
1 1/2 cups white or yellow corn meal, or coarse grain polenta
1/2 cup pecorino romano, grated
2 Tablespoon olive oil, plus more as needed
kosher salt as needed
marinara sauce for dipping
