Sweet Amaretto crepes filled with bananas in a brown-butter-cinnamon-rum sauce. All topped with a drizzle of caramel and some homemade whipped cream.

Ingredients

CREPES:
2 large eggs
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup water
1 cup + 6 Tablespoons cake flour (or 1 cup all-purpose)
3 tablespoons melted butter
Butter, for coating the pan
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons Amaretto
FOR THE BANANA TOPPING
1/2 cup butter
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg fresh ground
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon cardamom
1 tablespoon dark rum
Honey to sweeten
1 cup bananas sliced about 1/2-inch thick (2 bananas)
Juice from 1/2 lemon

FOR THE WHIPPED CREAM:
1 cup heavy cream
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
Caramel, for drizzling
