ome things are best homemade. Homemade bread, for example, has a certain special something to it. Perhaps it’s that special ingredient–love–which makes it taste so much better than store bought. Or maybe it’s simply the fact that homemade goods can be customized to a certain extent.
Ingredients
1/2 cup tamari sauce (San-J is my favorite brand, which is certified Kosher by the orthodox union)
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons mirin
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons honey
1 garlic clove, grated
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 teaspoon corn starch (if needed, to thicken sauce)
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
