400 – 500g of meat balls of your choice
½ a medium sized onion – finely chopped or sliced
3 – 4 cloves of garlic – chopped
1 ½ tsp of chopped ginger (approx. 1 inch piece)
4- 5 cardamom seeds
3 cloves
¾ tsp of tamarind paste
1 tbsp of roasted curry powder
1 ½ tsp of red chili powder
1 tsp of salt or to your taste
¼ tsp of ground black pepper
A small piece of cinnamon
A small piece of lemon grass (Sera)
A piece of pandan leaves (Rampe)
Some curry leaves
Water as needed
2- 3 tbsp of cooking oil
