ey friends! I don't know about you but I love pasta, and I love carbonara, if you don't know what carbonara is, it's basically pasta, bacon, eggs, and a tomato sauce of some sort. I found this recipe in the Chopped cookbook we got to review, it's a super simple recipe. It's a nice alternative from regular spaghetti to switch things up too! Not to mention it's really good too, ha!
Ingredients
0 slices of bacon, chopped
1 medium sized onion, chopped
2 to 3 cloves of garlic, chopped
4 tablespoons of tomato paste
1 pound of spaghetti (a box)
6 large eggs
1 1/2 cups of Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
6 tablespoons of chopped fresh basil
Salt and pepper
