Quick, easy and flavorful thai fried rice made with shrimp and chili peppers for some heat. Perfect weeknight meal.

Fried Rice with Shrimp
2 cups of cooked rice cooled (or day old rice works well too)
1 lb shrimp, head peeled, but tail on
¼ of a big white onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 egg
½ tablespoon soy sauce
Pinch of sugar (optional)
2 tablespoon of oil for frying
5 chilies
3 tablespoons of fish sauce
½ of a lime
1 bunch of green onion, chopped
1/2 cup fresh basil
