For the topping:

1/2 sugar
2 Tbsp. lemon zest
2 Tbsp. butter, softened
For the Blueberry sauce:
2 C fresh blueberries
1/2 C water
1/2 C sugar
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
2 Tbsp. cornstarch, mixed with 2 Tbsp. cold water
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Zest of 1 lemon
