For the Chocolate Buttercream Frosting:
12 oz (3 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
5 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup milk, plus more if needed
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
