Ingredients
Sauce Ingredients:
2 TBS Tamari or Soy Sauce
2 TBS Rice Wine Vinegar
2 TBS Honey or other sweetener
1 TBS Garlic Chili Sauce
1 TBS Mustard (any kind – mild, dijon, Chinese hot)
1 TBS Ketchup (secret ingredient – gives it a tangy/sweet flavor)
½ tsp Toasted Sesame Oil
Stir Fry Ingredients:
1 TBS Avocado Oil or other mild tasting oil
1 lb ground Chicken or crumbled extra firm tofu
3 Garlic cloves – pressed
1 tsp fresh Ginger – grated
3 Scallions (white and green parts) cut as pictured above
1 cup Carrots – grated
1 cup Mushrooms – I like baby bellas – chopped
1 small can Water Chestnuts – chopped
Additional Ingredients:
Lettuce leaves – Boston, Bibb, or Iceburg etc.
Optional: Top with onion, shredded carrots, and additional tamari or soy, mustard, chili sauce blend – like they do at the restaurant.
