Moong Dal – 1/2 cup
Mango – 1, medium, finely chopped
Green Chillies – 3, slit
Oil/Ghee – 1 tblsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Garlic – 2 cloves, crushed (optional)
Curry Leaves – 2 sprigs
Grind to Paste:
Coconut – 2 to 3 tblsp, grated
Ginger – 1/2 inch piece
Coriander Leaves – 1 tblsp, chopped
For Seasoning:
Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli – 1, broken
Asafoetida – a pinch
