This chocolate brownie mousse trifle has gone all Willy Wonka on you! Absolutely overloaded with chocolate, there’s crumbled brownies at the bottom smothered in velvety smooth chocolate mousse, and topped off with some milk and white chocolate curls.
Ingredients
For the brownies:
200g (7oz) Cadbury Bournville dark chocolate, chopped
45g (3 tbsp) unsalted butter
2 eggs
2/3 cup granulated white sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ cup plain (all-purpose) flour
¼ tsp baking powder
Yield: 4 medium sized trifles
For the chocolate Mousse:
200g (7oz) Cadbury Bournville dark chocolate, chopped
4 eggs, separated
2 tbsp caster (super-fine) sugar
225ml double (heavy) whipping cream
