The combinations of fruits and herbs are very much in vogue in recent years. After the success of soft cake with apricots and thyme, today I am adept at these cakes with peaches and lavender. Fragrant, fresh and summer, they are a real pleasure for the palate.

180 g of flour
80 g of corn starch
3 eggs
1 pinch of salt
80 g butter, softened at room temperature
80 ml of vegetable oil
180 g of sugar
2 teaspoons of dried lavender
(Readily available in herbal medicine shop)
half a bag of baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
slices of peach
