Chutney with radish? At first, I was surprised. First of all, I had never prepared a dish with radish before. And was wary about trying it for the first time. At the same time, I thought of first making it and then judging it – without any preconceived notions. Thus went ahead and made, yet another tasty Andhra chutney.
The outcome was indeed delicious!

Ingredients

1 radish (muli) medium sized
1 onion medium sized
1 cup curd (unsweetened, unflavoured yogurt)
2 - 3 green chillies
1 teaspoon black gram dal (urad )
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 pinch turmeric powder
1 - 2 sprigs coriander leaves (optional)
A pinch asafetida (hing)
