Calamarata pasta with a creamy cheesy sauce including Gruyere, sharp cheddar, pepper jack, and Parmesan. PLUS, there's crab in there!
Ingredients
1 lb. pasta (I used calamarata)
2 tablespoons butter
2 small yellow onions, diced (about 8 oz.)
2 jalapenos, diced
1 shallot, diced
2 tablespoons flour
½ to 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
6 oz. pepperjack cheese, shredded
3 oz. sharp cheddar, shredded
2 oz. Gruyere cheese, shredded
2 oz. Parmesan cheese, shredded
6-8 oz. lump crab meat, picked over
1 cup half & half
½ cup white wine
Salt & pepper, to taste
2 green onions, diced (for garnish)
