Ingredients
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, plus one tablespoon at room temperature
1 10-oz package of miniature marshmallows
1½ teasp peppermint extract
2 teasp green food coloring
1 cup white chocolate chips
4 cups toasted rice crispies cereal
¼ to 1/3 cup chewy cinnamon candies (such as Hot Tamales) cut in half
