For the Pabassinas:
½ cup milk
one ¼ oz. packet active dry yeast
¾ cups Zulka granulated sugar
½ tsp salt
1 tsp. lemon zest
1 tbsp. orange zest
1 ½ tsp. cinnamon
4 cups flour
1 tsp. anise seeds
¾ cup softened butter
2 eggs
¾ tsp. baking powder
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped almonds
1 cup chopped walnuts

For colored sugar:
1 cup of Zulka granulated sugar
gel food coloring

For the icing:
2 egg whites
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 cups Zulka powdered sugar
