1/2 tsp salt or as per taste;
1 onion, chopped;
1 tbsp cumin seeds;
1 tsp fennel seeds;
2 tomatoes, pureed or grated;
1 cup of water;
1 tsp tamarind pulp/tamarind paste;
few cilantro/coriander leaves, to garnish;
vegetable oil.
