Heat oil in a kadai add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, bengal gram and black gram. When they start spluttering add red chillies.
Add garlic, curry leaves and green chillies. Saute them for a while.
Add onions and saute till they turn translucent.
Add green gram and mix well. Add raw banana and mix well.
Once the dal half cooked i.e. cooked softly, add salt and turmeric powder. Mix well.Serve..
