2 small Russet potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 1/2 c. sliced cremini mushrooms
1 small turnip, peeled and chopped
2 qts. vegetable stock
28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1 c. green lentils
2 c. chopped green kale
