Tuna Hand Pies - little pockets of savory tuna deliciousness are fast, easy to make, just the right size, portable, and you can make them way ahead and freeze them. Total win!
Ingredients
Yield: 4 pocket pies
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Filling:
4 ounces Neufchâtel or light cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
¼ cup finely chopped walnuts
2 tablespoons finely chopped red pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (or ½ teaspoon dried dill)
1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish (optional)
1 teaspoon fresh lemon zest
5 ounces BUMBLE BEE® Premium Albacore Tuna In Water Pouch**
Pastry (enough for 9” pie):
½ batch of Herbed Pie Crust (omit the sage and thyme and substitute in a little dill and lemon zest!) OR
Your favorite pie crust recipe OR
Store-bought refrigerated pie crust (like Pillsbury)
Preparation
