Ingredients

2 1/4 cups whole wheat pastry flour (or 1 1/4 cup whole wheat flour + 1 cup all-purpose flour)
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flax meal (ground flax seeds)
2 very ripe bananas (should be about 1 cup when mashed)
1/2 cup applesauce (or an extra banana or two)
2 eggs
1 cup milk (whatever fat content you have is fine; I used fat free)
