1/2 Tbsp instant dry yeast
1/2 Tbsp sugar
3 Tbsp shaved Parmesan cheese, divided
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp unsalted butter, softened
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
1 cup nonfat milk, warm but not hot
3/4 cup (~4 ounces) pepperoni, diced into 1/4” cubes (see note below)
