2 qt vegetable/turkey broth
1 cup Great Northern Beans, soaked overnight
5 small beets, peeled
4 carrots, peeled and chopped into small pieces
1 parsnip, peeled and chopped into small pieces (optional)
4 bay leaves
5 allspice berries
Pepper to taste
Additional spices to taste
2 heaping tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp chopped fresh dill
1 tbsp chopped parsley
2 tbsp white wine vinegar
