2 cups string beans, ends trimmed, cut in half
1/2 - 3/4 cup pesto sauce (recipe follows)

3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 cup fresh Parmesan, grated
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
