Makes 8 large buns

1 cup plus 2 1/2 tbs (or 9.25 oz) water or half milk, half water (115 – 120 F)
2 tbs sugar
1 pack active dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
3 1/2 cups (14.75 oz) all purpose flour
2 tbs (1 oz) butter
1 large egg
1 1/2 tsp salt
Egg wash (beat 1 egg and 2 tbs water)
White sesame seeds
