Ingredients
Serves: About 1-1/2 pounds, or 5-6 small bags
1/3 cup of water
1 cup of unsalted butter (2 sticks), sliced into 5-8 pieces each
1-1/3 cups of sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cups of roasted almonds, coarsely chopped (you can use raw or roasted almonds and they're both delicious - my mom usually makes it with raw almonds, but this year tried roasted and loves it even more)
3-4 ounces of semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips* (see note)
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
