1 small onion, peeled and chopped
3 cloves of garlic, peeled and crushed
20ml/0.7fl oz white wine (optional – you can replace with water or stock)
300ml/10.5fl oz homemade or good quality chicken stock
100g/3.5oz dried pasta shapes
50ml/1.75fl oz whole milk
200g/7oz cooked chicken, chopped or shredded
70g/2.5oz kale
½ tsp lemon juice
zest of half a lemon
15g/0.5oz parmesan, grated
Pinch of salt and pepper
