Ingredients
For the cake:
1 cup butter, melted and cooled slightly
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
For the mint buttercream:
3/4 cup butter
3 cups icing sugar (give or take a half cup)
3/4 teaspoon mint extract
green food colouring (optional)
For the chocolate ganache:
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
1 cup heavy cream (or whipping cream for my fellow Canadians)
