1/2 cup whole milk
1 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground vanilla beans
1 1/2 cups cake flour, sifted
1 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
6 Tbsp unsalted butter, cut into 1 Tbsp pieces, chilled

1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 oz freeze-dried strawberries, ground into a fine powder in a spice grinder

1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp lemon juice
