2 tablespoons blackstrap molasses or sorghum
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1 tablespoon unbleached all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground mace
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 recipe Shortcut Pie Crust (made with brown sugar and prebaked in a 9-inch deep-dish pie plate)
