Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz) pkg Pillsbury Crescent Roll Dough
- Cooked white meat from a Rotisserie Chicken (used Costco's)
- Portabella Mushrooms
- Green onions
- Carrots
- Canned Gravy sauce
- Cheddar cheese
- Egg
- salt/pepper
- dill weed
Sauté chopped meat, mushrooms, green onions and carrots for few min until soft. Add 2 tablespoons of prepared gravy sauce to skillet, not too much though. Let it cool. Preheat oven to 375F. Cover a cookie sheet or a pizza shape sheet with parchment paper, so it will not stick. Unroll crescent rolls and arrange in a starburst shape on top of the parchment paper. Example on how it is done (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skXzjcYLYcI). I didn't do the Taco filling and didn't use 2 Cans as in Most recipes in order to Reduce the Calories. I just used One can, but Stretched each piece to fill the circle. Used 2 rectangles that were left over to fill the areas. You do have to play with a dough a bit, but One can has enough for a Good size circle to feed a family. Put your filling on top of the dough. Add Cheddar cheese on top. Fold points of triangle over the filling into the center. Filling will not be completely covered. Pinch to seal. Brush the top with an egg, salt, pepper and dill weed mix. Bake at 375F for 15-20 min, until golden brown.
