Mix the sugar and gelatin first in a bowl.
Boil 2 cups of water over medium heat, once the water is hot, then add the gelatin/sugar mix slowly, stir fast so the gelatin doesn't set. Stir till all of the sugar and gelatin is dissolved.
Turn off heat
take off element and add the rest of the water. Let cool for a few minutes then add the mango puree and of the evaporated milk. You can add mango

6 cups of water - I used 5 1/2 to make it a tad thicker.
1/2 sugar (Mango puree has sugar, so I cut this down a tad)
4 pkg Knox gelatin
1 can of mango puree
1 can of evaporated milk
